We'd like to introduce you to just a few of our cherished pets.
Here's 'Calliope'. Our 3 year old pet Black Headed Caique hen.
Her best friend is a special Red Front Macaw...
This is 'Oliver', who as you know is 'Calliope's' best buddy.
He's our 4 year old Red Front Macaw pet male.
And now 'Oscar'. Our little Hahns Mini Macaw.

"Woody", our Bare Eye clown.
Our 5 year old pet male.
Here's "Big Bird", who is not really a pet.
He's an elder wild caught we keep with our
pets as we seek a mate he'll accept. While not
tame, he is allowed out frequently because he will
return to his cage when we tell him to. He's been single
for many years. When we bought him, he had been an
escapee in a friends aviary for over two years! It
took 4 of us to capture him. Perhaps another
breeder has a hen and he'll finally hook up
with his bride.
"Tilla", our original and very special Goffin. A 10 year
old hen who is such delight and one I take to schools
to introduce children of various ages to the joys and
responsibilities of companion birds.
"Max" our Greenwing. Full of mischief and love.
Our 13 year old pet hen who steals our heart at every
opportunity.
"Cluso" our pet Bare Eye hen. Long story here.
Store bought as a baby and perhaps the most
timid critter I've ever met.
"Spike", our Yellow Front Amazon songster. She came
to us from two previous owners who had both been bitten.
I won't say she'd never do that to me, but a more loving
Amazon would be hard to find. She is loved dearly.
"Merlin" our pet Timneh. He was the first of many from a
pair a friend set up. He thinks he's 'King of the Roost' and
tries to enforce his will.
"Pearl" another of our Goffin pets. She's three and a 'keeper' who won our hearts with incredible flight antics during fledging.
She got extra points for landing without causing the blades to move... and then coming when called. (We keep most birds fully
flighted and spend considerable time training them to fly to us when called.)
"Levy", our Harlequin Macaw. Another who
accompanies me to visit with school children.
She and Max are cage mates.
